Sony has unveiled a brand-new line of PlayStation 5 accessories called the Prism collection. The main feature of this lineup is the transparent plastic, which allows players to peer through the shell and see the inner workings of their devices, harking back to the iconic gaming hardware trend of the late 90s.
The Prism collection introduces three distinct color options:
- Flare Orange (a vibrant orange);
- Emerald Green (a deep, rich green);
- Graphite Gray (a cool-toned storm gray).
The DualSense controllers and console covers feature a high-gloss finish to emphasize their transparency, alongside metallic accents that provide a premium, modern appearance.
It is important to note that the console covers will be available exclusively for the current standard PS5 model. At this time, there are no variants planned for the new PS5 Pro or the older, launch iterations of the console.
- The DualSense controllers will be priced at $84.99 / €84.99.
- The matching console covers will cost $74.99 / €74.99.
Pre-orders for the Prism collection will begin on November 10, 2026, with the official release scheduled for February 4, 2027.
