French company Unsolved Hunts has announced a large-scale real-life quest called Gold & Crystal: The Lost Treasure of Edward Kenway, dedicated to the release of the updated version of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
The treasure hunt is set to begin on November 9, although preparations for the event will start much earlier. Participants will need to solve 15 complex riddles that will ultimately reveal the exact location of a chest hidden somewhere in the Caribbean.
How it works
- Players purchase a special participant package.
- After solving all 15 puzzles, the treasure coordinates must be submitted through a dedicated digital interface.
- The first person to correctly identify the location will receive a physical treasure chest filled with gold coins and a crystal skull decorated with opal.
