Riot Games has released patch 12.04 for Valorant. The update brings changes to Killjoy, and developers have also completely overhauled the progress tracking system and post-match screen interface.
The biggest change in the patch concerns Killjoy's Turret. Players can now adjust the Turret's viewing angle much more precisely, without forcing the character into awkward poses to cover the desired area.
Critical bugs with Nanoswarm have also been fixed — it could remain invisible to enemies if they entered and exited its detection radius too quickly.
Riot Games continues to modernize the game's visual presentation:
- Progress Tab: It replaces the familiar Battle Pass tab in the top menu. This is a new hub where you can check your BP progress, weekly missions, and active events at a glance.
- Reworked Career Screens: The match completion, summary, and timeline screens have received an updated layout. After ranked games, a new Rank Summary screen now appears, showing in detail the Rating Points (RR) gained or lost.
Several other agents received minor updates:
- Sova: New voice lines added.
- Jett: Fixed a bug where the sound of her passive slide could be heard through Astra's ult.
- Harbor: Fixed an issue where Storm Surge effects could carry over into the next round.
- Breeze has received improved wall collisions for better placement of Cypher's cameras and Vyse's thorns. Micro-gaps in the geometry that provided unintended advantages have also been removed on several maps.
The next Premier stage kicks off at the start of Act Two (patch 12.05). However, you can start preparing right now:
- Matches begin on Wednesday, March 18.
- This stage will last 6 weeks instead of the usual seven.
- Playoffs are scheduled for April 16.
As a reminder, Nacon Connect 2026 has been postponed to May due to economic difficulties.
