One of the simplest quests added in the Flashpoint update for ARC Raiders is “Test Case,” which players can pick up from Apollo. The quest features several straightforward objectives.
Apollo asks you to find three items that can be obtained from ARC enemies, as well as eliminate a Firefly.
First Objective: Obtain the Hornet Driver
To begin, you need to destroy a Hornet on Topside. They are very common, and you will most likely encounter one within the first few minutes after deployment.
If none are nearby, the easiest way to spawn them on open maps is to find a Snitch. These are ARC drones that fly high in the sky and scan the area for Raiders. You need to shoot the Snitch without destroying it so that it calls in other ARC enemies — one of which will be a Hornet. Destroy it, loot the Driver, and place it in your Safe Pocket.
Second Objective: Destroy a Fireball and Collect the Fireball Burner
The next required item is the Fireball Burner, which drops from Fireball-type enemies. They are mostly found inside buildings and other enclosed locations.
If you are playing on the Buried City map, try searching in the Hospital, Research Building, or check the metro, as Fireballs sometimes appear on broken escalators or platforms.
The Stella Montis map is also a good option, but you will encounter significantly fewer flying enemies needed for another part of the quest. Loot the burner from a Fireball and move on to the next objective.
Third Objective: Destroy a Firefly and Collect the Firefly Burner
The final objectives are to find a Firefly, destroy it, and collect its Burner.
Fireflies are more heavily armored than standard flying ARC drones. To deal with them quickly, focus your fire on the yellow canister or the armored plates on the sides, using weapons with high armor penetration.
Quest Rewards
Once you destroy the Firefly, loot it and collect the final burner. Bring all three collected items back to Apollo to receive the rewards:
- Fireworks Box Blueprint
- Seeker Grenade — 3 units
- Blaze Grenade — 3 units
As a reminder, Remedy Entertainment has also recently revealed new gameplay for Control: Resonant.
