Xbox and Discord have announced a strategic partnership. Starting today, the Discord Nitro subscription will include access to the new Xbox Game Pass Starter tier, effectively turning Nitro from a messaging-focused service into a full gaming membership.
Xbox Game Pass Starter provides access to more than 50 popular games for PC and consoles, including Fallout 4, Stardew Valley, DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic, Overcooked! 2, and Grounded. The subscription also includes 10 hours of cloud gaming access. The game catalog is expected to continue expanding over time.
Later in May, Xbox Game Pass users will receive exclusive benefits in Discord, including:
- 250 Discord Orbs every month
- A 1.2x multiplier for earning additional Orbs through quests
- Automatic discounts in the Discord Shop
As a reminder, Spin Master recently announced a global toy line based on Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and Brawl Stars.
