The developers of Diablo 4 have released a launch trailer for the major expansion Lord of Hatred, highlighting its key features and upcoming content.
Among the main changes:
- A full new story campaign focused on the conflict with Mephisto
- A new region called Skovos, once the land of the Firstborn and home to Lilith and Inarius, now ruled by the oracle queen and leader of the Amazons
- Two new classes, the Paladin and the Warlock
- New items, including a crafting system
- Updated abilities for all existing classes
- New endgame content
Overall, critics have responded positively to the expansion. Reviewers note that Blizzard Entertainment managed to deliver a confident and coherent conclusion to the storyline.
