Well-known insider billbil-kun has revealed details regarding the release date, price, and contents of the physical edition of Hollow Knight: Silksong. Despite no official announcement from developers at Team Cherry, physical copies in the United States are reportedly scheduled to launch on October 16, 2026.
The physical edition will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Switch 2. Distribution of the physical versions will once again be handled by Fangamer, which previously worked on the original game.

According to one source, the Switch 2 version will receive a special enhanced edition priced at $44.99, while PS5 and Xbox versions are listed at $39.99. These editions would include a game cartridge or disc, a 32-page manual, and a fold-out map of the kingdom of Pharloom.
Another part of the report suggests an alternative version for Switch 2 and PS5 priced at $34.99. This edition would include the game disc or cartridge, a 28-page manual, and a map of Hollownest.
At this time, details regarding an official announcement from the developers, as well as information about a European release, remain unknown.
