Epic Games has released update v40.41 for its popular battle royale game Fortnite.
In the official Fortnite blog, the developers announced the launch of a special watch party island. Players will be able to watch the first 10 minutes of the new film The Mandalorian and Grogu for free. The screening will take place in a dedicated movie theater-themed area, followed by a Q&A session featuring Jon Favreau.
The island is designed around the planet Nevarro and is fully interactive. In addition to watching the footage, players can complete themed quests while defending themselves against attacks from Imperial forces and bounty hunters.
“The Mandalorian and Grogu” premiered in theaters on May 22, 2026, serving as a full replacement for the fourth season of the TV series The Mandalorian. The project was directed by Jon Favreau, with Dave Filoni serving as co-writer.
