Fable Gets Its PC System Requirements

Playground Games has revealed the PC system requirements for its upcoming RPG Fable. The developers have outlined four graphics presets: Low, Medium, High, and Ultra.

Every configuration requires Windows 10 version 22H2 and an SSD. The studio also recommends enabling XMP and ReBAR to improve frame rate stability and overall performance.

The Low preset targets 1080p at 30 FPS and requires an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or Intel Core i7-6850K, alongside an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050, RTX 2060, AMD Radeon RX 6600, or Intel Arc A580. The configuration also calls for 12 GB of RAM and 6 GB of VRAM.

The Medium preset targets 1440p at 30 FPS or 1200p at 60 FPS. Players will need a Ryzen 5 5600 or Core i5-11600KF, an RTX 5060 or RTX 3060 Ti, a Radeon RX 9060 XT or RX 6700 XT, plus 16 GB of RAM and 8 GB of VRAM.

For High settings at 1440p and 60 FPS, Playground Games recommends a Ryzen 7 7700X or Core i7-12700K, paired with an RTX 5070 or RTX 3080 Ti, or a Radeon RX 9070 or RX 7900 XT. The preset requires 16 GB of RAM and 12 GB of VRAM.

The Ultra preset targets 4K at 60 FPS and requires a Ryzen 9 7900X or Core i9-13900K, along with an RTX 5080 or RTX 4080. This configuration needs 16 GB of both system memory and VRAM.

In other words, playing Fable at 4K and 60 FPS will require a graphics card on the level of the RTX 5080.
