On August 1, 2026, the first official Ukrainian online tournament in the Ukrainian Fight Drone Simulator: Starter Edition will take place, titled "Fight & Flight. Patriotic FPV Races." The event is organized by the miltech company Drone Fight Group and the Victory Drones project. Event partners also include the Federation of Military Drone Pilots of Ukraine, PG Robotics, Bat Drones, Aratta, as well as other units and companies.
Both military personnel and Ukrainian civilians with basic or advanced FPV piloting skills are invited to participate. The races will take place in Multiplayer Racing mode on a virtual location of Snake Island. The organizers aim to establish a new popular FPV discipline in Ukraine at the intersection of esports, technology, and practical training, laying the foundation for future large-scale championships.
Tournament Format:
- Qualifications (10:00 to 18:30): Participants will be able to attempt the track an unlimited number of times. Based on the leaderboard results, the top 16 pilots will advance to the final stage.
- Finals (19:00 to 20:20): The races will follow a single-elimination system. The final stage will be broadcast live on the Victory Drones YouTube channel, hosted by actor and FPV enthusiast Yuriy Hromovyi.
Participants and finalists will compete for prizes, additional giveaways, and victories in special categories. Prizes include drones (specifically the iFlight Chimera7), FPV components, and branded merchandise from Ukrainian companies.
Applications to enter the tournament can be submitted via a dedicated registration form, which will remain open until 18:00 on August 1.
