World Champion top laner Li "Flandre" Xuan-Jun has officially left Anyone’s Legend. The organization decided to move the veteran to the bench following the signing of Chen "Breathe" Chen. Although the player is left without a team until the end of the year, rumors are actively spreading within the community about him joining Bilibili Gaming.
The roster update became inevitable after a series of unsuccessful performances by the squad in 2026. Unlike in 2025, when AL were undoubtedly considered one of the best teams in the world, the current season has turned out to be a crisis. The team failed to qualify for MSI and finished only in fourth place twice in the regional LPL league.
The final straw was likely the defeat to Karmine Corp at the Esports World Cup 2026. To rectify the situation, management brought in the experienced Breathe—a player who shines on "carry" champions and recently became available after a weak split with Invictus Gaming.
Despite his high level of play in recent years and holding a World Championship title, Flandre has temporarily found himself outside the competitive scene. However, he is expected to join the ranks of Bilibili Gaming before the start of LPL Split 3. These discussions arose amidst main top laner Chen "Bin" Ze-Bin taking a break, and Yang "Wenbo" Wen-Bo being promoted to the main roster.
There is currently no official confirmation of the transfer, nor is there information on whether Flandre is being considered as a starting five player or as part of an expanded six-man roster. Such a move could either be a major upgrade for BLG or turn into a disaster due to the radically opposite playstyles of the esports athletes. Flandre is used to playing the weak side of the map, sacrificing his own resources for the team, whereas Bin needs the status of the main star to realize his full potential.
Forming a six-man roster would guarantee BLG the necessary flexibility to adapt to the shifting meta and team results. On the other hand, such competition could severely impact Bin's mentality, which has traditionally been his most vulnerable point.
