2K Sports has released a new gameplay trailer for NBA 2K27, which is set to launch on August 28. According to the developers, this year's installment delivers a more balanced basketball experience thanks to improved AI defensive behavior and a redesigned dunk system featuring the dynamic Dunk Meter.
MyCareer introduces a brand new opening storyline centered around the iconic Rucker Park, while The City has been refreshed with a new nighttime presentation to give the hub a different atmosphere.
MyPlayer will receive 19 additional badges, increasing the total number to 53. Meanwhile, MyNBA expands with several long requested features, including a No Trade Clause option for free agents and a new second salary cap apron mechanic based on the NBA's Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
MyTeam will also introduce a cross platform Auction House shared between PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 players. PC users will continue to have access to a separate auction market.
Crossplay support remains unchanged. The PC version will not be compatible with console matchmaking, while crossplay will continue to be available only between PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
