Krafton, together with Level Infinite and Lightspeed Studios, has announced the launch of PUBG MOBILE: Trial of Fire, a unique media project described as the world’s first battle royale reality show.
The show will feature 16 elite squads from around the globe. Instead of competing in traditional virtual arenas, participants will face off in real-life conditions where they must demonstrate strategic planning, survival skills, and teamwork.
Filming for the project is taking place on the island of Bali, Indonesia. The global release of the show is scheduled for May 30, 2026.
As a reminder, Konami is set to test a new matchmaking system in eFootball based on Smart Assist settings.
