North American organization Team Liquid is in the final stages of negotiations over the transfer of Johnny "JT" Theodosiou from Ukrainian club Passion UA. The information was reported by sources close to Dust2.us.
Liquid are planning to part ways with Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, with JT expected to take over as the team's new in-game leader.
Alongside the potential signing of JT, Team Liquid's management is also exploring options to replace AWPer Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak.
The decision to replace the captain comes amid a highly disappointing season for Liquid. This year, the team failed to reach the playoffs of any S-tier tournament and was also eliminated in the opening stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026.
