NBA 2K27 gives players plenty of ways to customize their MyPLAYER. Alongside choosing a build and raising attributes to reach important Badge Requirements, players can also change their animations. Faster passing and shooting animations can make gameplay feel smoother while giving defenders less time to respond.
The best Pass Styles in NBA 2K27 will ultimately depend on personal preference, so it is worth trying several options. Some animations can also feel more effective depending on whether your player is short or tall.
To purchase a Pass Style in NBA 2K27, open the MyPLAYER section in the MyCAREER menu and select Animations. Press X to enter the Animation Store, then go to Playmaking Moves and select Pass Styles. Players can press RS and choose Show All to display every animation, including those whose requirements have not yet been met.
Most Pass Style animations cost between 200 and 400 VC, although some are available for free. Each animation also comes with its own Pass Accuracy requirement, meaning the attribute must be high enough before the style can be purchased.
The bottom of the Playmaking Moves section also features special animations for Park Flashy Passes. These options are limited to Park games and can be used when performing flashy passes. The selection includes elbow and kick passes.
How to Equip a Pass Style
Once a new animation has been purchased, press X again to switch over to the Gameplay Animations tab. Players can also move between the tabs using LB and RB.
From there, select any Pass Style you own and equip it. Only one Pass Style can be active at a time, although it can be combined with different dribbling and shooting animations to give your MyPLAYER a more distinctive set of moves.
Best Pass Styles in NBA 2K27
There is no single objectively best Pass Style, as the choice largely comes down to personal preference. However, the animations below are all relatively quick and perform well on the court. They are listed according to their Passing Accuracy requirements, giving players options based on how highly they have upgraded their passing attribute.
