New footage from the set of the upcoming Elden Ring movie has surfaced online. According to reports, some scenes for the adaptation are currently being filmed at Conwy Castle in Wales. The leaked clips show actors wearing detailed armor while standing on the castle’s towers and walls.
Fans quickly noticed the strong resemblance to Stormveil Castle, one of the game’s first major and most difficult locations where players face Margit and Godrick. It is believed these sequences are being recreated for the movie adaptation.
The film is being produced by Bandai Namco Entertainment and A24, with Alex Garland serving as both writer and director. George R. R. Martin, who helped create the lore and backstory of the original game, is also attached as a producer. Reports claim the movie’s budget exceeds $100 million, making it one of A24’s most ambitious projects to date.
