The Steam platform has launched a new thematic sale — the "Social Deduction Festival." The event is dedicated to cooperative games where the main weapon of gamers is not reaction times or shooting accuracy, but psychology, the ability to manipulate, lie, and figure out traitors among their own.
The festival is held in a super-compressed format and will run from July 13 to July 16, 2026.
The main concept of the presented games is built on the principles of the classic "Mafia." Players are divided into two groups: "peaceful" residents who perform shared tasks, and secret saboteurs whose goal is to covertly destroy the team from within.
As part of the festival, publishers have prepared significant discounts on popular titles in this genre:
- Among Us — the cult space hit about searching for an impostor among the ship's crew has received another nice discount.
- Backrooms: Apprehension — an atmospheric horror game set in liminal spaces, where paranoia and fear of the unknown come to the forefront.
- Project Winter — a survival simulator in the snowy wilderness, where traitors in the team try to prevent others from calling for rescuers.
- DEATH NOTE Killer Within — a fresh interactive adaptation of the famous anime, which offers to test your logic in the confrontation between Kira and L.
- Deceive Inc. — a spy action game where players must disguise themselves as peaceful citizens to be the first to steal secret documents.
Discounts also apply to other well-known representatives of the genre within the sale, such as Deducto 2, Town of Salem, and Feign. If you were looking for an excuse to gather a company of friends for an evening of mutual accusations and fun, this sale will be an excellent opportunity to replenish your library.
Reminder: Halo: Campaign Evolved has officially gone gold ahead of its release.
