PUBG Mobile will receive its Version 4.5 update on July 9, headlined by a major collaboration with the iconic Naruto anime franchise. The developers have confirmed the addition of nine fully featured character skins, unique ninja abilities, and a brand-new themed game mode.
Official teasers showcased highly detailed character models faithfully recreating their classic appearances from the original series:

- Gaara
- Jiraiya

- Tsunade
- Hinata Hyuga
- Naruto Uzumaki (Six Paths Mode)
Version 4.5 will significantly change the traditional battle royale gameplay by introducing a range of authentic ninja mechanics.
New gameplay features include:
- Chakra System — an energy meter used to activate special abilities, with its capacity increasing as the safe zone shrinks.
- Ninja Run — dramatically boosts movement speed, increases jump height, and allows players to run across water.
- Special Ninja Techniques:
- Clone Jutsu to distract opponents.
- Teleportation for rapid repositioning.
- Wall Builder to create defensive barriers.
- Fireball Jutsu to unleash powerful ranged attacks.
The collaboration will also introduce a dedicated Naruto-themed mode featuring locations inspired by the Hidden Leaf Village, along with a giant world boss — the Nine-Tailed Fox, Kurama.
