From September 4 to 6, Porto hosted the deciding matches of the BLAST Open Fall 2026 Counter-Strike 2 tournament. Team Spirit emerged victorious, defeating MOUZ 3:1 in a Best-of-5 grand final. For first place, Spirit earned $250,000, while runners-up MOUZ took home $160,000.
Playoff Progression and Key Matches
The single-elimination bracket consisted of five matches featuring the top six teams from the group stage, with group winners starting directly in the semifinals:
- Quarterfinals: Team Falcons confidently defeated G2 Esports 2:0 (13:6 on Inferno, 13:9 on Dust II). In the parallel matchup, Team Vitality proved stronger than FURIA — 2:1 (6:13 on Nuke, 13:11 on Cache, 13:4 on Dust II).
- Semifinals: Team Spirit outplayed Team Falcons 2:0 (13:8 on Nuke, 13:11 on Ancient). In the second semifinal, MOUZ defeated Team Vitality with an identical 2:0 result (13:11 on Dust II, 13:7 on Mirage).
- Grand Final: Spirit beat MOUZ 3:1. After taking Dust II (13:8), Spirit dropped Mirage (11:13), but convincingly closed out the next two maps — Ancient (13:3) and Nuke (13:6).
Final Prize Pool Distribution
- 1st place: Team Spirit — $250,000
- 2nd place: MOUZ — $160,000
- 3rd–4th places: Team Vitality, Team Falcons — $115,000 each
- 5th–6th places: FURIA, G2 Esports — $75,000 each
Following the conclusion of the tournament in Porto, the Tier-1 scene will enter a break until IEM Katowice 2026, set to take place from October 3 to 11.
