MOUZ fell to Spirit with a 1-3 scoreline in the BLAST Open Porto grand final. Although the team's game plan looked solid throughout most of the series, Spirit demonstrated superior individual skill. Following the match, MOUZ player xertioN commented on the reasons behind the loss, the struggles on Dust II, and the decisions made during the veto stage.

According to the esports athlete, the final result was a consequence of both MOUZ not bringing their A-game and the opponent's high level of preparation. He admitted that the Spirit players were extremely sharp and won the majority of the aim duels. Tactically, MOUZ were able to put up a fight only on certain maps, and the team will now need to analyze their mistakes to improve their game moving forward.

Analyzing the issues with the B-site defense on Dust II, xertioN noted that in the current meta, holding this site on the CT side is incredibly difficult for all teams. As an example, he pointed to MOUZ's successful executes in the first buy rounds on the T-side, where they just as easily broke through the opponent's B-site. However, the player is confident that by putting in the work, his team will be able to adapt faster than anyone else and find the optimal defensive setup.

Commenting on the map selection, xertioN explained the decision to pick Mirage in the first rotation instead of Nuke. According to him, playing Nuke turned out to be a "disaster," whereas the Mirage pick completely justified itself and brought the team a map win. Despite a large number of lost rounds overall, the player considers the veto decisions to be a positive takeaway. Summarizing, xertioN acknowledged that Spirit is currently the best team in the world and plays strongly across all maps, meaning that without showing up in peak form, MOUZ were doomed to lose.
