The roster of the Ukrainian organization Monte has advanced to Stage 3 of the IEM Cologne Major 2026.
In the 2–2 bracket of Stage 2, Monte faced paiN Gaming in a decisive match for survival and a spot in Stage 3 of the tournament.
The Ukrainian squad started strongly on the Brazilians’ map pick, winning Nuke 13:5. On Dust2, Monte lost the attacking side 5:7. After switching sides, the Brazilians were unable to build momentum, and Monte’s defensive performance ended 8:4 in their favor, securing a 2:0 series victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Monte also secured wins against BIG and Legacy.
This marks only the second Major appearance in Monte’s history. Previously, the organization competed at the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, where it reached the quarterfinals.
IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to June 21 in Cologne, Germany, with a total prize pool of $1.25 million.
