Amazon’s Head of Gaming, Jeff Gattis, has suggested that a sequel to 007 First Light should happen, provided there is enough interest from players.
Last week, fans were concerned after comments implied that a future James Bond game might not be developed by IO Interactive. Gattis has now clarified those remarks during an interview with IGN.

«First of all, let me set the record straight. I did not confirm that Amazon Game Studios is publishing the next game. I never said that. Unfortunately, the story took on a life of its own. IO has been fantastic. They’ve been great partners. I visited them in Copenhagen a few months ago. The game is doing great. Let’s give it the space to launch and have its moment», — Gattis explained.
He also addressed the possibility of a sequel:
«Trust that we’re going to be smart about this. It comes down to market demand. As long as we feel players want the game, it’s safe to say it will be made».
Despite the encouraging comments, no sequel has been officially announced. Any future project would ultimately need approval from Amazon MGM, which owns the James Bond intellectual property.
Still, considering the positive reception of 007 First Light and its mix of action, stealth, intense combat, and cinematic storytelling, a follow-up appears to be a realistic possibility.виглядають досить високими.
