Riot Games announced on the social network Weibo that the mobile version of the popular shooter Valorant has surpassed 10 million daily active players. This milestone was achieved despite the game currently being available only in the China market.
The mobile version was released exclusively in China on August 19, 2025. Even before the official launch, more than 70 million users had pre-registered. On its first day, the game recorded 170,000 downloads and generated $1 million in revenue.
According to Tencent, the combined audience of Valorant on PC and Valorant Mobile in China alone reaches 50 million monthly active users. For comparison, the peak daily player count for the PC version in China six months ago was 2 million.
Despite its large-scale success, Riot Games has not yet made any official announcements regarding a release date in other countries.
