The victory at IEM Rio 2026 became the final note for Vitality in their Grand Slam run. In the grand final, the team confidently defeated Team Spirit with a 3:0 scoreline, closing out the series and securing their second consecutive title.
This achievement is truly unique, no team had ever won the ESL Grand Slam twice in a row before.
Vitality once again handled the challenge with уверенно, winning IEM Dallas 2025, ESL Pro League Season 2025, IEM Kraków 2026, and the final event of the run, IEM Rio 2026.
Moreover, for ropz, this marks his third consecutive ESL Grand Slam season. He first won it with FaZe, and then followed it up with back-to-back victories alongside Vitality in 2025 and, of course, in 2026.
