Team Vitality became champions of IEM Rio 2026 after a confident 3–0 victory over Team Spirit in the grand final. They left no chances for their opponents and once again confirmed their status as the strongest team of the season.
This is already their fifth consecutive trophy this year, and thanks to their victory at the IEM series event, they secured the second Grand Slam in the organization’s history.
The tournament MVP was ZywOo, for whom this is already the 31st medal of his career. He once again confirmed his status as the world’s No. 1 player and now leads s1mple by 10 MVP awards.
