A new Dota 2 patch 7.40c has been released

On the night of January 22, Valve released update 7.40c for Dota 2. A full list of changes was published on the company’s website.

The developers made adjustments to 39 heroes and updated the stats of two items. In addition, Largo, who was recently added to the game, is now available in Captains Mode.

Item changes

Khanda

• Can now be disassembled.

Phylactery

• Bonus to all attributes reduced from 7 to 6.
• Mana regeneration reduced from 2.5 to 2.25.

As a reminder, two Dignitas players are facing U.S. visa issues and will miss the start of the LCS 2026 Lock-In.
