A new content cycle has officially launched in HITMAN World of Assassination. The Season of Patient Zero Requiem roadmap is now live, bringing a Celebrity Elusive Target, fresh challenges, featured contracts, returning events, and new unlockables from IO Interactive.
Following the Eminem vs Slim Shady season, the game shifts toward a more viral theme. Season of Patient Zero Requiem delivers a new star powered Elusive Target, the return of familiar missions, brand new challenges, and a paid DLC pack.
The centerpiece of the season is the Celebrity Elusive Target Patient Zero Requiem, starring Milla Jovovich. She appears as Lilith Devereux, the incoming CEO of Ether Biotech and the latest target for Agent 47. Available from February 25, the mission takes place during a fundraiser at Thornbridge Manor in Dartmoor, England, where players uncover the secrets behind Devereux’s rise to power.
The Celebrity Elusive Target is available to all HITMAN World of Assassination owners as well as Free Demo players. The two level Arcade contract «The Contagion» allows players to eliminate Lilith Devereux, but failure forces a restart after a 30 minute cooldown. The classic one chance only Elusive Target remains exclusive to the full game. Completing the associated challenge rewards the Urban Maverick with Gloves suit.
Alongside the season, IO Interactive released the Patient Zero Requiem Pack, priced at $4.99, €4.99, or £3.99. The pack includes «The Contagion» Arcade contract, the Breach Response Gear outfit, the Bartoli 75S «Lucky Knight» handgun, the Sickle Sacrificus, the Manypass keycard tool, and Freelancer Safehouse cosmetics inspired by the mission. The Elusive Target runs from February 25 until March 24, with the Arcade contracts free to play during the same period.
Several Elusive Targets are also returning. Players can hunt The Heartbreaker in Mendoza from March 13 to 22, The Broker in Dartmoor from March 20 to 29, and The Infiltrator featuring Bruce Lee from March 25 to April 26. The Bruce Lee Pack will be available again during this window. The Fixer returns to Marrakesh from March 27 to April 5, while The Collector in Dartmoor and The Forger in Paris are both available from April 17 to 26.
New challenges arrive with the season as well. Initiate’s First Speedrun, celebrating the 10th anniversary of HITMAN 2016 and the ICA Facility, rewards the Tactical Turtleneck With Gloves. Starting March 25, the Quintuple Trouble challenge tasks players with precision sniper gameplay to earn the Druzhina 34 ICA.
The season also introduces new Featured Contracts created by the community. Atmosphere Valentine’s Gravity is available now, while Lukefsje’s Suit Stylin launches on March 25 and focuses on Agent 47’s iconic suits.
Only one event returns this season, the Berlin Egg Hunt, running from April 17 to May 11. These unique Escalation contracts take place in Berlin and revolve around eliminating rabbit costumed targets using poisonous Easter eggs.
Twitch Drops are part of the seasonal rewards as well. The first drop is available now through March 19, granting the Purple Streak Screwdriver after watching 30 minutes of HITMAN World of Assassination on Twitch. The second drop runs from April 2 to 23 and unlocks the Perfectly Purple Easter Egg.
Finally, players who link their IOI Account can earn exclusive items. Playing «The Harbinger» or «The Contagion» before March 24 unlocks The In-flu-ential Duck, while completing «The Infiltrator» or «The Dragon» between March 25 and April 26 rewards The Tracksuit Duck.
