A player for the Top Esports League of Legends team, Yang “Naiyou” Wenzhe, has found himself at the center of a major scandal. The organizers of China’s LPL league have launched an official investigation into the player over suspicions of involvement in match-fixing.

The investigation began on March 2 after the team noticed unusual behavior from Naiyou during recent official matches of the LPL Winter Split 2026 playoffs.

The club immediately suspended Naiyou from all team-related activities for the duration of the investigation. All available evidence has been handed over to the LPL disciplinary department.

The Top Esports organization emphasized that it follows a “zero tolerance” policy toward violations of fair play rules and is fully cooperating with the investigation.

As a reminder, the artist whose works were used in Marathon without permission was credited as a “visual design consultant” in the game’s credits.
