The gaming community is actively discussing information about a third DLC for the iconic RPG The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, which has not been officially announced yet but is widely believed to exist.
It is expected that 11 years after the game’s original release, CD Projekt Red will launch a new expansion to renew interest in the franchise ahead of The Witcher 4 and to create a narrative bridge between the two titles.
According to Polish analyst Mateusz Chrzanowski, the third DLC is expected to cost $30. This price is noticeably higher than that of the previous two expansions at launch, suggesting a much larger and more ambitious release. The expansion is believed to be comparable in scope and content to Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty, which was also priced at $30.

The analyst estimates the production budget of the DLC at nearly $15 million. Additional sources indicate that around 100 developers from the Polish studio Foolʼs Theory are involved in the project. The team includes former CD Projekt Red veterans and previously released their own game The Thaumaturge.
