The popular extraction shooter ARC Raiders has received a major Flashpoint update. Swedish studio Embark introduced a range of new content, giving players a strong reason to return to the post apocalyptic world and embark on more dangerous raids.
The centerpiece of the update is the Close Scrutiny operation. Developers warn that it is challenging and "not for the faint of heart", as enemy density on the map has significantly increased while loot has become more scarce. However, those who manage to reach the most valuable items will be rewarded.
A new threat comes in the form of the Assessor probe, which guards vaults and can eliminate even the most careful raiders with its laser. It is supported by another new ARC unit called the Vaporizer.

The update also introduces new weapons including the Canto submachine gun and the Dolabra energy shotgun. Players can also use the new Surge Coil item that periodically releases electric pulses.

In addition, players received a new project called "High Gain Antenna", the ability to increase both the quantity and value of collected loot, as well as other improvements. The full list of changes is available on the official game website.

Scrappy has also received notable updates. The bond with the raiding rooster has grown stronger, allowing players to influence the types of loot he collects by feeding him specific items. In return, Scrappy will provide more valuable resources as long as he is regularly fed.

A new threat has also emerged across the locations. Due to the open doors of Stella Montis, dangerous Shredders have begun spreading in regions such as Blue Gate, Buried City, Spaceport, and Dam Battlegrounds. These flying enemies have already been spotted throughout the Rust Belt, so players are advised to stay alert.

The developers have improved the crafting system to reduce preparation time before raids. Missing materials can now be fulfilled directly during crafting, and resource sources can be quickly accessed in a single window, including recycling, refining, or purchasing.

Additionally, a new cosmetic bundle called The Wasp Hunter Set has been added to the game, allowing players to create a unique look using ARC parts. The set includes multiple color variants, a new Diver Backpack, a Scrappy Helmet, the Thruster Hammer tool, and 2400 Raider Tokens.

Throughout April, players will also receive new cosmetic outfits. These include The Brigade Set, inspired by a Roman centurion, The Vanguard Set designed for intense combat situations, and The Nascosto Set, focused on a stealth-oriented playstyle with camouflage elements.

ARC Raiders is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series and is considered one of the most successful extraction shooters on the market.
As a Reminder, Xbox Games Showcase 2026 set for June alongside Gears of War E Day Direct.
