Following Astralis' disappointing performance at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 in CS2, rumors emerged that the organization was planning to replace team captain Rasmus HooXi Nielsen and head coach Casper ruggah Due.

The reports of changes within the team were later partially confirmed. ruggah stepped down from his coaching position, while HooXi remained with the roster.

Pley.gg later published an interview with Astralis CEO Jonas Gundersen. In the interview, he stated that the club does not intend to make any player changes. He also revealed that the team's new head coach will not be Danish.

At the same time, Gundersen emphasized that the organization will not abandon its Danish roots. As a result, local talent will always remain within the club's field of view.

As a reminder, the exact start time for GTA 6 pre-orders and the bonuses included with the Ultimate Edition have already been revealed.
