Ukrainian esports organization B8 have announced that segukawa is returning to the CS2 academy roster. The club shared the news on its social media channels.
The CEO of the organization stated that the decision to move segukawa back to the academy was made even before the start of IEM Kraków 2026. For PGL Cluj-Napoca, the team has already registered a different AWPer.
“The decision that Nazar would not play in the upcoming tournaments was made even before the bootcamp and the tournament began. This is confirmed by the fact that for PGL Cluj-Napoca, after the roster lock, a different AWPer was registered, and Nazar is not even listed as a substitute. As you know, every tournament has a so-called roster lock — a date after which changes to the lineup are no longer possible. For PGL Cluj-Napoca, this deadline was January 18.
It is important to clarify this, because from the outside it may seem that the decision was made after the team’s unsuccessful performance at IEM Kraków. That is not the case — Nazar’s return to the academy was decided by the club, as I already mentioned, even before the bootcamp and the tournament started.”
Statement by the CEO of B8
Segukawa played for B8’s main roster only during Stage 1 of IEM Kraków 2026. He appeared on five maps and posted a 0.70 rating.
As a reminder, NAVI opened their IEM Kraków campaign with a victory over PARIVISION.
