Less than two weeks remain until the release of Assassinʼs Creed Black Flag Resynced, and more gameplay footage from the ambitious remake continues to appear online. IGN has released a new 8 minute gameplay video focused entirely on Havana, one of the main cities of Cuba and one of the game’s most important locations.
The original Assassinʼs Creed IV: Black Flag from 2013 already featured a Havana that felt incredibly detailed, authentic, and full of life. However, thanks to the updated engine, the power of modern platforms, and the work of Ubisoft’s artists and designers, Black Flag Resynced makes the iconic city look more impressive than ever.
The developers have introduced a seamless open world, greatly improved draw distance and texture quality, given Edward new parkour abilities, slightly increased his movement speed, and enhanced the impact of weather effects.
The remake also features improved NPC behavior and a larger population density, making Havana feel even more alive and realistic compared to the original version.
As a reminder, Assassinʼs Creed Black Flag Resynced will also feature a heavily reworked combat system, more equipment options, an expanded story, new characters, and additional quests. The developers aim to bring every major element of the classic title up to modern standards.
Assassinʼs Creed Black Flag Resynced launches on July 9 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
