New information about the next Wolfenstein entry has surfaced via mp1st. According to journalists, the project is already in an active phase of production.

The game is reportedly operating under the codename Valkyrie, at least for casting purposes. Casting duties are being handled by Tom Keegan, who recently served as performance director on Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, alongside Emily Schweber, who previously worked on casting for earlier Wolfenstein titles.
The story will see William «B.J.» Blazkowicz encounter a new character named Sofiya. She is described as a Ukrainian orphan aged between 8 and 11 who joins B.J. on his journey together with her dog, Patron Ralph, confirming the return of the iconic protagonist.
Casting materials describe Sofiya as follows: «While initially suspicious and traumatized by war, she blooms under the care of the resistance as a strong-willed survivor». Given this emphasis, the relationship between Sofiya and Blazkowicz is expected to carry strong emotional weight, potentially echoing the dynamic seen in The Last of Us, with B.J. stepping into a protector role.
Performance capture is scheduled to begin in April, with further shooting planned for late 2026 and early 2027. Based on this timeline, the game is not expected to launch before 2028.
