Blizzard Entertainment has officially announced a new mobile game titled Overwatch Rush. It is a reimagining of the hero shooter with a top-down perspective, designed specifically for mobile players.
Development is being handled by a separate internal team at Blizzard, allowing the core team to continue focusing on the development of the original Overwatch. The game is currently in an early stage. There is no confirmed release date yet, but testing in select regions is expected to begin soon.
Alongside the announcement, a four-minute gameplay video was revealed. Journalists note that the pace of the game feels noticeably slower compared to the original. Some hero abilities have been modified to better suit mobile controls and the top-down perspective.
As a reminder, the system requirements for Death Stranding 2 on PC have been published.
