CD Projekt RED continues to strengthen the team behind The Witcher 4. The studio has recently welcomed Lucie Hennet, who joined the company as a cinematic animator. She previously held the same role at Sandfall Interactive, where she worked on the RPG Clair Obscur Expedition 33.

Although it has been a while since fans last saw Ciri or any concrete hints about the new game, development on the next Witcher trilogy set in Andrzej Sapkowski’s universe is clearly moving forward. Just a few weeks ago, composer Marcin Przybyłowicz also rejoined the studio, further reinforcing the project’s creative side.
More than 400 developers are currently involved in The Witcher 4 at CD Projekt RED’s Warsaw office. Still, the first entry in this new trilogy is not expected to launch before next year. In the meantime, players may have something else to look forward to, as rumors continue to swirl about a potential new story DLC for The Witcher 3.
Despite the studio’s tight secrecy, these behind the scenes updates show that CD Projekt RED is assembling an experienced and ambitious team. Whether The Witcher 4 can reach the legendary status of its predecessor remains to be seen, but for now, all signs point in the right direction.
