Another developer has confirmed that it is working on adding support for the latest PSSR 2 upscaling technology for PlayStation 5 Pro to its game.
This time the focus is on the iconic RPG Cyberpunk 2077, which has often been used to showcase cutting edge technical capabilities.
CD Projekt RED is preparing a dedicated update that will fully unlock the potential of PlayStation 5 Pro in Cyberpunk 2077.

The Polish studio has not yet shared specific details about the patch but has already clarified that no new content should be expected. After the update, the game is likely to run at higher resolution, Night City should appear with improved frame rates, and overall visual quality along with ray tracing may see enhancements. However, it is still too early to draw firm conclusions, since the improved upscaler developed by Sony and AMD is currently only available in Resident Evil Requiem, where it delivers impressive results: at native 1080p the image looks close to 4K without sacrificing ray tracing and with stable performance above 60 FPS.
CD Projekt RED has promised to share more details in the near future.
As a Reminder, NVIDIA unveils DLSS 5 technology.
