Discord has announced that it has decided not to introduce mandatory passport verification. The company shared the statement on its social media channels.

Most accounts will automatically receive an “adult” status. It will be determined by a neural network that analyzes user behavior, account metadata, and gaming history.

Only users who do not receive adult status but wish to access age-restricted content will be required to complete identity verification.

As a reminder, Hazelight is already working on a new game.
