Epic Games has strengthened its anti-cheat measures targeting hackers who disrupt official Fortnite matches. Starting February 19, all PC players will be required to use Secure Boot, TPM, and IOMMU to ensure fair competition.

These security measures will be mandatory for all players participating in battle royale tournaments. Epic Games is following the example of companies such as Activision in expanding anti-cheat efforts for its esports titles.

Epic Games continues its fight against cheaters at its tournaments. In February 2025, the company issued a ban to Morgan “RepulseGod” Bamford for cheating during the Fortnite Championship Series (FNCS) 2023.

As a reminder, the PUBG partner teams for 2026 have been announced, with NAVI included in the list.
