It has been revealed that League of Legends star Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok will be featured on a commemorative stamp in South Korea. This marks the first time in history that a figure from the video game or esports industry is honored with a commemorative stamp.

The release of the stamp is scheduled for October this year.

Faker is a legend of esports, having won six League of Legends World Championship titles. Previously, he was awarded the “Cheongnyong” medal, which is the highest state honor in South Korea.

Recall that the film “Super Mario Galaxy” earned $190 million in 5 days at the U.S. box office.
