The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has announced the launch of “Road to EWC,” a large-scale qualification program for the Esports World Cup 2026. The program will unite publisher-led leagues, elite international events, and open qualifiers into a single, season-long competitive pathway.
According to the organizers, the program is designed to bring clarity and structure to the qualification system across different esports disciplines. This will allow players, clubs, and fans to follow a unified calendar of events.
“Road to EWC 2026” will include more than 230 tournaments across all major esports regions and at every level of competition. The culmination will be the EWC main event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, taking place from July 6 to August 23, 2026.
“Road to EWC 2026” features the following tournament series: Apex Legends Global Series, Capcom Pro Tour, Chess.com Global Championship, Combo Breaker, CROSSFIRE Pro League, EA Sports FC Pro, EVO, Free Fire World Series, Fortnite Reload Elite Series, King Pro League (Honor of Kings), Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang MWI 2026, Overwatch Champions Series, PUBG Global Series, PUBG MOBILE Global Open, Rocket League Championship Series, SNK World Championship (Fatal Fury), TEKKEN World Tour Finals, as well as official competitive seasons in Call of Duty, League of Legends, Fortnite, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Trackmania, and VALORANT.
Open online qualifiers and community tournaments will be held for Call of Duty: Warzone, Dota 2, Teamfight Tactics, and chess.
