The world’s largest fighting game championship, Evolution Championship Series (Evo), has announced a major expansion of its global presence. Starting in 2027, six new destinations will join its list of регулярних локацій, which currently include Las Vegas, Japan, and France.

New locations in 2027:

  • Singapore
  • Brazil
  • Morocco
  • Mexico
  • Saudi Arabia
  • China

In addition to the new locations, Evo introduced a new competition format — the Fighting Game World Championship. Players will be able to qualify for this final event by achieving top placements at various Evo tournaments throughout the year.

Starting in 2026, Evo also plans to launch the “Local Support” initiative. The organization will provide equipment and technical solutions to local fighting game communities (FGC), helping them host their own high-level tournaments.

Earlier, Red Bull Media House released a magazine featuring a built-in version of Tetris.
