Paramount Pictures has released the first teaser for Sonic the Hedgehog 4. The biggest surprise was the confirmation that Jim Carrey will once again return as the villainous Dr. Robotnik, despite the actor previously talking about retiring from acting.
Several well-known actors have joined the fourth film in currently undisclosed roles, including Matt Berry, Nick Offerman, Richard Ayoade, and Sir Ben Kingsley.
The movie will once again be directed by Jeff Fowler, who worked on all previous installments. The plot is being kept secret, but fans expect the appearance of Amy Rose and Metal Sonic. It has been confirmed that Kristen Bell will voice Amy Rose.
The film is scheduled to hit theaters on March 19, 2027.
