Warner Bros. has released the first teaser trailer for Dune: Part Three.
The final chapter, based on Frank Herbert’s novel Dune Messiah, takes place 17 years after the events of the second film. Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) is now the Emperor, trying to deal with the consequences of a massive holy war that has spread across the known universe.
One of the biggest surprises for fans was the appearance of Robert Pattinson. The actor appears in a completely new and disturbing look — he will play the new main villain named Scytale, a member of the Face Dancers, a race capable of changing their appearance.
The trailer also shows Paul’s now-grown sister Alia Atreides, played by Anya Taylor-Joy. Another surprise is the return of Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho.
The film is scheduled for worldwide release on December 18, 2026.
