The organizers of the FISSURE tournament have announced the cancellation of the CS2 event FISSURE Playground 3, which was scheduled to take place from April 20 to 26, 2026, in Shenzhen, China.
According to the organizers, the reason is a logistical conflict in the tournament calendar: the event overlaps with another major competition in South America, making it impossible for players to arrive on time. However, it is also important to consider earlier reports about the difficult situation faced by the Serbian tournament operator.
Additionally, two summer events planned for July 13–19, 2026, and July 12–19, 2027, have also been cancelled. All other FISSURE tournaments are still planned to take place, though there is a high likelihood that they may be cancelled as well.
