The developers of the Football Manager 2026 series, in partnership with FIFAe, have announced the launch of the Curaçao Challenge. The event celebrates the arrival of the officially licensed 2026 FIFA World Cup in FM26, as well as the game's expanded national team management mode. The competition will run until June 27.
The challenge is inspired by the remarkable achievement of Curaçao, which unexpectedly finished first in its qualifying group. The nation became the smallest country by both territory and population ever to qualify for the FIFA World Cup finals in the tournament's 96-year history. Players are tasked with taking charge of Curaçao and attempting to lead the team to World Cup glory in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
To participate, players must visit FIFA.GG and download a specially prepared save file. Competitors will need to build their starting lineup, develop their tactical approach, and achieve the best possible result before uploading their final save back to the platform. The challenge is available exclusively to players on PC, Xbox Game Pass, and Microsoft Store.
The grand prize for the participant with the best result is a unique trip to Curaçao. The winner will have the opportunity to meet representatives of the country's football federation and officials from the national team setup. The winner's name will be announced no later than July 27.
Earlier, Battlefield 6 became temporarily free to play on PC and consoles.
