Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: List of Confirmed and Rumored Collaborations in the Overdrive Season

Launching on August 20, the fourth season of Fortnite Chapter 7, titled "Overdrive," will be saturated with collaborations featuring video game icons from various decades. Official announcements and leaks point towards a massively rostered season.

The game's official accounts have already begun teasing crossovers. Sonic the Hedgehog is the undisputed center of attention among confirmed collaborations. The official Sonic X account confirmed participation, publishing an image of Sonic running in a loop that resembles Green Hill Zone and may hint at a new location. Sonic is expected to appear as a Battle Pass Outfit, and Epic Games also released a short video teasing Eggman's appearance.

Collaborations with Kingdom Hearts and Persona, rumored to have been in development since 2024, are finally being realized. From Kingdom Hearts, at least Sora and the Keyblade are expected; more details should emerge at D23 2026. The agreement between Sega and Fortnite covers Persona ahead of the release of Persona 6, although Epic Games has not yet confirmed cosmetics.

An unexpected collaboration is the crossover with 99 Nights in the Forest. Despite assumptions from fans and insiders that the slogan "Survive the Night" referred to Minecraft or Five Nights at Freddy’s, it is actually a reference to a popular fan-game based on Roblox. 99 Nights in the Forest has a massive audience, but the details of the crossover are yet unknown.

Among other confirmed collaborations for the Overdrive season:

• Pac-Man: The appearance of the title character himself is expected. Previously, Epic Games temporarily used the iconic Pac-Man music at the Wonkeeland POI.
• Tetris: Clouds in the shape of Tetris pieces appeared in teasers for Season 4.
• Mega Man: Although there are the fewest details, since it is a Capcom title, a Mega Man skin and a Back Bling shaped like his dog, Rush, are expected.

Rumors about the appearance of Crash Bandicoot have slowed down, but the collaboration is still possible, as Epic Games has recently been confirming one crossover per day. Vigilant fans noticed a block in a recent teaser similar to those in Crash games.
