Epic Games has announced layoffs of 1,000 employees, citing declining engagement with Fortnite.
The cuts have also impacted Fortnite's feature set. Three game modes are being shut down: Ballistic, Fortnite Festival: Battle Stage, and Rocket Racing. The first two will go offline on April 16, while the third will be removed from the game in October of this year.
