Following the game’s presentation, Playground Games has revealed the first technical details of Forza Horizon 6. On consoles, players will be able to choose between a quality mode running at 30 frames per second and a performance mode targeting a stable 60 FPS.
The game will support cross platform multiplayer, allowing players to race together regardless of their device. Forza Horizon 6 will also become the first entry in the series to offer cross save functionality across Xbox Series, PC, Steam and PlayStation 5, ensuring progress carries over between platforms.

However, at launch, cross progression will effectively be limited to PC and Xbox, as the PlayStation 5 version is scheduled to release later. The developers also highlighted additional optimization efforts for handheld devices such as the ROG Ally and ROG Ally X.
