The third day of ESL Pro League Season 23 has come to an end, and fortunately none of the teams with Ukrainian players have left the tournament, even though the risks were quite high.
FUT Esports were the first source of pride today. The team featuring two Ukrainians, dem0n and cmtry, advanced to Stage 2 without a single loss after defeating Astralis 2:0. This result shows that the team is gaining momentum and may soon become a very serious opponent for everyone. With this victory, FUT also secured a slot at IEM Cologne Major 2026.
Monte won their match today against Heroic. The Norwegian organization did not stop them, so the Ukrainian club now needs just one more victory to reach the next Stage.
Fans of NIP can breathe a sigh of relief. The team managed to win their match and avoided elimination at the hands of NRG, who recently added a new player. The match felt like a movie because the outcome was decided in overtime on the third map with a score of 22:20. The Ninjas gave the Americans several chances to come back, but ultimately won and continue their run in the tournament.
Passion UA did not deliver today, although they should not be written off. The team lost a close match to the Brazilian roster paiN. Even though the Brazilians are not considered a very promising team at the moment, they still managed to take the win. Passion UA drop into the 1–2 bracket and now, together with NIP, find themselves on the edge of elimination.
